i just bought a 76 malibu classic for $300. the sticker under the hood says it has a 350 cid with a 2 brl carburetor. it runs and drives but doesnt seem to have much power. how can i tell if it is actually a 350 and not a 305?

 

There will be a casting number on the block. I don't remember chevy making a 305? I know Olds did.
