Default RE: Cavalier header on cobalt?

According to the parts book both the 2004 Cavy 2.2 Ecotec and the 2007 Cobalt 2.2 Ecotec use the same exhaust manifold gasket -- PN 12589453. Make sure you do not have SAI (AIR) on your 2.2 either -- if you do the exhaust manifold is a steel welded asembly not cast iron. Since the engines use the same gasket the header for a 2004 CAVY with an "F" coded 2.2 Ecotec should fit the cylinder head of the 2007 non SAI 2.2 ecotec. Don't know about the downpipe though -- you'll probably have to fab something to make it fit the downpipe.
