Hi all
I just bought a used Cobalt and was looking through the manual and it appears to have satellite radio. Just wondering where the antenna is located, as only see what I think is the AM/FM radio. Also if really does satellite radio how do I go about activating the service.
Thanks
Michael

Hi all
Just found a place on Sirrusxm website where I can enter in my VIN #. The website shows that they cannot find that VIN. That tells me that this item is either not standard on this model or that was somehow disabled by the previous owner (a rental car company).

Hi all
I have done more research on this subject. It looks, as though the factory installed radio is set up for satellite, but does require some extra parts including the antenna, cable, receiver module, and mount bracket. All of these must be purchased from GM or so I have been told. I do see a aftermarket Sirius/XM kits for GM, but it is my understanding that there are no XM kits and that is what I need.
