I recently bought a certified pre-owned 2016 Colorado LT with a IO5 8 inch MyLink radio. Apparently my truck was built in October of 2015 before Android Auto was loaded into the MyLink system and the previous owner never got the system updated. Now although On Star agrees the truck should be updated the dealership will not push the software update unless I pay $130. Has anyone ran into this problem? Will GM push the update since the IO5 was marketed as having both Apple Carplay and Android Auto? Any help would be great!
