Default Changing to performance rotors

I own a 2004 Colorado 2wd, 2.8L, Z85, 2door. I recently purchased a set of aftermarket performance rotors. I read another persons post about the 2005 Colorado rotors, andthe ball peen hammer. I was just wondering if the 2004's rotor assemblyis the same? And if I have to take out the 4 bolts behind the rotor, or the caliper assembly,or really, I just want to know how to take off the rotors. Any information will be Greatly Appreciated. Thank You

The caliper has to come off. No big deal, you'll need the proper size wrench and a cheater bar. When you take the caliper off, if you can't just pull the rotor off, hit it a few times between the wheel studs to free it up.
