My 2004 Colarado is tripping P0621 and P0622 codes. They are Generator Lamp control circuit problem and Generator field Control Circuit Problem respectively.
Nothing lights on the dashboard. I'll just get a "dinging" and when checked, these codes come up.

Any ideas? I was told to ignore them.

Get the dealer to reprogram your PCM. If no cause of the problem has been found, its most likely a software issue in the PCM that a reflash should fix
