I just got this vehicle in June. The engine light would initially come on for a day at most then shut off and stay off for a week or more. When the engine light is on, the fan is roaring at full speed. What I don't get is that there are ALOT more people other than myself having the same issue. Why hasn't there been a recall on this issue? I mean I know for a fact that the dealership or the GM corporation isn't prepared to give hundreds of people a new vehicle for their technical negligence. I was told that the powertrain warranty doesn't even cover something like this. I love my car, because it is good on gas, and has a great ride. I just don't want to have to make a payment on a vehicle that could have a major issue.
