Default Fan won’t stop running

so I have a 2011 Chevy Cruze Ltz and last night on my way home my fan started running not long after I started my car, and my temp got hot fast but was never over heating. I had this problem one other time when I blew a head but there’s no smoke and my antifreeze isn’t leaking. Ive had so many issues with this car my check engine light has been on almost the whole time I’ve had it. I’m so ready to get rid of it, if it’s not one thing it’s another. But does anyone have any ideas how to fix my current problem?

the fan will run if certain fault codes are set....anything to do with the cooling system, coolant temp sensor etc. Its is also designed for the fan to run for a set time after engine shut down if certain temps are reached.

first thing to check is for codes. post them here.
