Hi, just joined CF and have a 2011 Cruze. Driving it is great but have a transmission problem. When driving under D or using the manual 'Tiptronic' I constantly get this warning that the transmission is hot and must idle engine, anyone experiencing same. What did you do?

 

I would suggest that you go to the dealer and see if there is a code showing what the problem is. The 2011models were NOT the best when it comes to the transmissions, but GM will NEVER admit that there is problem. They will string you along for MONTHS and then have an engineer come to the dealer and tell you that the car is "operating as designed" and that is the end of that! About 5 days after hearing that assinine news, I got a 2013 Buick Verano Turbo! I LOVE it!
