2005 Equinox rims question

I have the 2005 Equinox LT with 17" factory rims. Does anyone know if I can put 16" factory (or other) rims on this without problems?

Hard to find 17" rims for my winter tires but I can find the 16" ones cheap.

You might want to look into it, I'm not sure if it will affect your speed sensor at all.
