I have a 2007 chevy equinox I replaced the engine off a 2005 equinox awd but it dont start it cranksand dont start I replaced the coil pack and wired up the crank sensor to a 2005 year and still nothing what could it be?

 

A 2005-2006 3.4L engine uses a different camshaft & crankshaft than the than the 2007-2009 3.4L engine. As a result, an engine may not run using the opposing engine management because the timing may be different than the computer is expecting. This means you can't use a 2005-2006 engine with a 2007-2009 computer & sensors and vice versa.
