I am trying to locate information regarding the wiring diagram for a 2008 equinox I am installing a navigation system and would like to interface the existing wiring. Also trying to locate the speed sensor wire any help in this would be great I have found a few threads regarding 2007 but would like to verify the 2008 information. Thanks in advance.

 

IF the connector is there, It should be a brown, 16 pin connector with 1 wire in it, and it should be dk Green\white.

The connector may not be equipt as the vehicle does not have factory NAV. That being said, I have seen some vehicles with the connector taped to the HVAC harness in vehicles without nav

 

Thanks shawnvw I will check this out tonight the last piece is in the power supply connector from the OEM radio does anyone know which wire is the ACC power. The Red and Black are obvious thanks in advance!

 

This vehicle does not have an accy wire at the radio. It turns the radio on via a data wire. You need to get an integration module to convert the data, to a switched 12v. The module will keep the use of your retained accesory power, signal audio, factory back-up sensor audio,chime audio, and the use of your OnStar. Without the module, you can go to the yellow wire at the power window switch for accy, but you will ose the use of your onstar, signal audio, chimes, and audio from the factory back-up sensors.
