I've been told it is the SS model because of the wheels and trim package.

Black on black leather interior with silver lined interior.

Loaded except for no electric passenger seat controls.

Only chrome is the wheels.

No SS badging tho.

Is this true?

and

I know many have done the vent shades and

maybe the bug/hood shield does anyone have

any pics to share possibly?

It is an Equinox Sport. It is similar to the SS trim found on other Chevy models, but is actually branded as an Equinox "Sport" instead of "SS". There should be a Sport decal after the Equinox decal on the lower left corner of the liftgate where the trim decal (LS/LT/LTZ) is normally placed. The notable differences that are included in the Sport package are the more powerful engine (DOHC 3.6L), six-speed automatic transmission, dual exhaust, alternate gauges w/140 MPH speedometer, body colored trim on grille & liftgate, stiffer suspension, body colored rocker panels, 18-inch wheels, and alternate lower front fascia with silver highlights.
