2010 Equinox Key Fob Shell Replacement Question
Hi all!
Recently I bought a key fob shell for my 2010 Equinox off Amazon. I then tore apart one of my old, original key fobs and removed the circuit board as well as the key itself and placed them in the new shell.
Using the new shell containing the original circuit board and key, the buttons work to unlock, lock, remote start, and alarm. The key turns but it wont start the vehicle. The dashboard icon with the car and a padlock appears.
I do have another original key fob that works to start the vehicle so if I need to use that to relearn, it is available.
Please advise! I appreciate any help!
