Red face 2010 equinox oil changes, tire rotation and tire balancing - frequency

hi all...i used to leave the maintenance of my car up to my husband, but he works a lot of hours so i am trying to take on this for myself.

how often do i need to have oil changes, tire rotation and balancing? i have been doing oil changes every 5000, and tire rotation every other oil change (so every 10000) and have not gotten balancing done yet. i have had the car for one year.

thanks for helping a girl take charge!

On page 10-2 of your owners manual there is recommended timelines for your vehicles maintenance. For oil changes: When the Change Engine Oil Soon message displays, service is required for the vehicle as soon as possible, within the next 1000 km/600 miles. Tire rotations should be every 8 000 to 13 000 km (5,000 to 8,000 miles). I hope this helps.
