Hi, I am new to the forum and still learning to navigate the site. Hope this is the correct place for my post. I don’t know much about vehicles beyond the basics.
My 2013 Equinox stopped working while I was driving. There was some mention of the timing chain. I need to get a new head and I need to tell the folk if my emissions is Federal or California. I don’t know if California QUALIFIED is the same as CERTIFIED. If someone can tell me if my emissions is Federal or California I will be very grateful. Thank you.

I ran your VIN through GM's system (I work at a dealership). Your vehicle is equipped to meet Federal emissions standards (RPO code NT7). The RPO code for California emissions is NU6 which yours doesn't have.
