Default 2013 Equinox LTZ with Navigation

Suddenly the navigation voice prompts has very low volume during route guidance.

The radio works fine, NAV functions all work, even the muting of the radio when a prompt is given, but the volume is so low almost impossible to hear.

I have set the prompt volumes and background settings just make sure these settings are available and seem to be making the requested changes but the voice prompt is still very low.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for any input.

First, make sure your regular speaker fade & balance settings are centered. Then, make sure all the speakers are working.

I believe voice prompt volume is biased so that the front left speaker produces the most sound for them. If you are also not hearing the turn signal sounds/clicks (yes, they are synthesized) or other warning chimes, the front left door speaker is probably blown.

This issues has been resolved. I pulled the negative battery cable off for ~one minute to reset any anomalies. That cleared it up. All speakers and radio were working normally before and after this began as originally reported.

Thanks for your reply!
