Default Brake lite deactivation for dingy towing

Hi i just bought my equinox and am preparing it to tow behind my motor home. I have to run three wires from the engine compartment into the cabin. Is there a readily accessible place on the firewall to run these wires? If not i am considering drilling a hole under a front seat for the 12v circuit and break-away wire. Any suggestions? Also i have to disable the brake lights when towing so have to install a relay at the stop lite switch. This looks difficult because the switch is difficult to access. Any help in removing panels to get to the switch? I also wondered if i could remove the fuse for the brake lite (which i can't find so need help there also). If removing the fuse works then i can install the relay there rather than at the brake switch as it might be easier.
Thanks for your help,
a complete newbie to the forum, regards moe
