Hey guys, new to this forum and I need a little help with my '05 Equinox. I just ordered some hids, and I want to disable the DRL. How do I go about doing that?

 

Unplug the ambient light sensor and put a 600 ohm resistor in place of the sensor.

 

where is the ambient light sensor and where can I buy a 600 ohm resistor?

 

Below is the pics which show the ambient light sensor,and 600 ohms resistor you can get from radio shack,or those who sells electronics spares.
