I have a 2007 Equinox. I just had the thermostat replaced. As I turned on my car (to leave the shop) " engine hot a/c off" displayed on the dash. It has never done this. I cleared it. Drove off. When I arrived home (30 miles away) my temp gauge never moved. Like it wasn't on at all. And fan was running. I turned off the car. Restarted it and alert came back on.
Any advice.

 

maybe they missed plugging in a ect connector. the engine thinks there is overheat condition and is going into a failsafe mode...hence the cooling fan running. bring it back tomorrow....don't wait.... and have them double check their work.
