I'm looking to buy an equinox or terrain motor with turbo because it's got good hp and tones of torque. I'm putting it into small sports car that's very light. I don't need huge hp since I'm never going faster then 120km but I want to drift or accelerate very fast. I figure I could change it to a twin scroll, bigger injectors and a tune if I want to raise up the HP and lower the bottom end torque.

Is the bolt pattern for the engine to bellhousing universal to all Chevy transmissions? I'd like to find an older t5 to bolt onto it.
