Is there any special proceudre to remove the Rear drum on a 2005 Equinox? Do you need to remove the Rear Axle nut? All of the druma that I have removed in the past pull straight off, of course soem need the help of a pursuader.

Nope, nothing special to it at all, just pull. Just did mine a few days ago, you really gotta hammer at them to get them off though.. Make sure you buy a new spring kit though. I i broke the spring hold down for the shoes on both sides. Other than that. easy peasy

Yes ^^^ The brake drum should fall right off when you give it a couple of whacks with a hammer. Don't hit it around the rounded edges, you may run the risk of warping them.
