rust protection
Do the 2014 and 2018 Equinox have any rust protection from the factory, and if so how good is it? I live in New England and am considering getting undercoting for these vehicles, but am not sure if it's worth it. A local shop quoted $325/each for fluid film, and said I would have to bring it back for re-coting at least once after the first year.

I'm new to this forum, I'm not really interested in buying a Chevrolet however, I am very hopeful that this website will help me learn about automobiles. Does your region apply road salt to the roads you drive on in the winter months? Salt can be very corrosive to the under carriage of an automobile.
