tire/wheel smoking!!!!!!
coming home from work. I was coming down a hill and my car was running a little weird. so when I was getting ready to stop the brake was a little hard to push down.... managed to make it.home there was smoke coming from the front passenger wheel... went and bought a brake caliper, still doing the same thing!!!! need help Asap please!!!!!! It's a 2005 Chevrolet equinox

So far everything seems to point to a seized brake caliper. Make sure you lube up the caliper pins with high-temp brake grease or high-temp anti-seize. The new caliper will also lock up if this is crucial step if overlooked. Also, when tightening the caliper pins don't let the wrench you are using to hold the inner part ride on the caliper because this can also cause the caliper to stick.
