Troubleshooting front and rear noises

My Equinox is 11 months old. There are popping noises in the front and rear. It also frequently shutsoff in traffic. But on highway driving it is fine. Does anyone know what the problems may be?</P>

The steering rack and Column could be to blame. Also the stabilizer links. Dont know about the back but thats been my expeirience with the front.

my 05 equinox just started making a fluttreing noise from under neith and a roaring noise from the left front you only hear the fluttering noise when the back windows are down
