Wet flood boards
#11
Thanks ruley73, I finally got around to addressing this issue. Either the short rubber hose, or the elbow was clogged. There was a constant slow drip of water coming from between the elbow and the firewall. When I pulled the hose and elbow off, a gush of water came out of the firewall tube. A blast of air from a blowgun, blew an obstruction out of the hose. I am not sure if the obstruction was in the hose or elbow. I suspect for short trips, this slow drip was enough to handle the condensation buildup, but for an 8 hour vacation trip, with the A/C on all the way, this ability was overwhelmed, and the overflowing occurred. I am confident this issue is resolved now.
