This may be a dumb question, but when I was changing the headlight in my wife’s 2013 Equinox, I pulled out this part. For the life of me though, I do not know where it goes now. Is it part of the headlight assembly? If not, what is it? Thanks!

 

it is a water shield that goes behind the bulb assembly, look at the other side, you should have another there as well.
