What brake pads are you using? How do you like them? Type of driving? Braking performance, fade, cold, noise, mileage, dust, easy on rotors? Did you look at the DOT edge code?

Right now I'm looking into Hawk LTS. I think these would hold up to my wife's city driving and mountain driving on weekends and vacations loaded up with 5 people and lots of junk. I've used Hawk HPS before and also have used Akebono ACT which are ok for ceramic pads. If Akebono made ASP for the rear I think I would go with them. I tend to like high cold friction pads that don't fade (FF or GG).

Mine is a 3500 2015 but they have used the same brakes for a long time.

I use Wagner semi metallic. Been through most western states an back to TN with no trouble at all

How old are they? How many miles? One of the reviews on Amazon says they are EE edge code which is very low friction but they are carbon/metallic which might be what I'm looking for. Have you noticed high pedal effort? I wonder if they changed the friction material with this new low/no copper thing. The review was from 2014.

Edit: Picture on the rear pads shows FE code. So the new material gets good friction at low temperature but fades some at higher temperature. Made in USA and a great price though.

Only got about 20k on them. Got new rotors when I got here. Had to smooth up pads a little by sanding,but thickness was almost like new

I found metallic pads to be grabby particularly if the vehicle sits a few days. Been running ceramic pads and that seems to solve the issue.
