i'm looking for a gear shift indicator pointer. does anyone have one or knows where i can get one?

​​​ same issue with my 89' GMC g2500 vandura , . Couldn't find one so i improvised.... I know this is really corny but you know the little red coffee stir sticks some of them are a little bit more bendable than others and it bends perfectly up into the little gear position box and then I simply pulled it back out and melted it in that same position and then hot glued it 2 the other side and it moves perfectly in little window problem solved that is unless you have your car for show.

 

It's just a spring clip and cable. Maybe something came loose.
