1996 Chevy Conversion Van
I recently bought this 1996 conversion express Chevy van, in near perfect condition & was garage kept & has no major problems .
But i have only one electronic sapper to open & start the van & control the alarm system .
Every time i have to start the van, i have to punch the unlock button on the sapper to cut the alarm system off, hold my foot on the brake peddle to crank the van up .
The prior owner had the horn discontinued in some way, but the lights still flicker (parking , interior, & dash lights) on & off as part of the alarm system . This in turn is very hard to the battery .
IS THERE SOME ECONOMIC WAY TO BY PAST THIS ALARM SYSTEM ?
Is there some simple procedure to take this alarm system out ?
I want to be able to simply only use the iginion & door keys to operate the van .
If not how do i go about obtaining a extra electronic keyless control sapper ? Are they reasonaly priced ?
Thank You.
