Default 2002 Chevy 2500 Exp Van/N Safety Switch

can anybody tell me what the 4 pin plug on the Neutral Safety Switch is for?
I found a diagram and schematic for the 7 pin plug
I have spent about an hour on google and cannot find a wire diagram or schematic for this particular plug...
if you could leave a link or any info would help...
(same problem as my original post)
Thanks

Post the pin layout for the 7 pin. On my truck (same van) it has a white black yellow and light grey wire.
Maybe the info to the BCM for the backup lights?
