Default 2010 Exp 1500 AWD brake inlet hose washer

Hi guys, lots of great stuff on this site to see. Thanks for posting it all!

I just replaced my front calipers and can not get the old OEM copper washer off the inlet banjo bolt. Can't lift the washer because it seems to have expanded around the threads and no space to get under the washer to cut it off.

Has anyone seen this problem and more to the point, how can I get it off.

Mark

They are hard to remove. I don't change then anymore.... As long as you didn't damage it; it won't leak. Side cutters work if you must get it off.

I'm sure some nerd will say it a must; it's not. When they come off easy change it....when they don.t...leave it.

Do a leak check after you have finished bleeding the system and you can verify just that.
