Default 2012 express 3500 15 passenger van seatbelts

Good afternoon.

A few months back, I attempted to remove my 4th row bench seats to help my wives friend move. I used a key to release the seatbelt so I could remove the bench seat. Now, I can’t seem to get the metal part back in the lower receiver. I’m not sure if it got damaged when I initially removed it.

Any help would be fantastic!

It's a dumb question, but have you tried using the key to slip it back in yet? Maybe the latch inside (use a flashlight to peek through the slot) slipped back (like a door latch) and something like a coat hanger in combination with key could slip it back open again.

I did. I will try the key in conjunction with something else to try to get it to lock or something. I may try my split last row seats and see if it’s maybe a lower receiver issue.

Good luck, if nothing else check your local CL and/or boneyard for a part.
