I have some ugly trailer wiring on my latest purchase that I would like to clean up. I am not sure if it is functional. I am going to go buy a tester and check it and at least put a cap over the connector. What I would really like is to have the trailer wiring terminate into a socket with both 7 and 4 pin sockets.

But, without the factory wiring harness, I don't think I can do that. Might just do some loom from where the wiring exits the weather seal out to the trailer hitch and secure it better and call it good. Anyone have any advice on how I can improve it?
