My van runs great until you turn on the AC.
Then it surges when accelerating and loses power.
It has the 6.0 and never has it misfired or ever not cranked, It's almost like the air is blowing on something causing moisture and a short.
You can run the fan and it's fine.
I tested it all day without the AC and it had plenty of power.
Help

 

Is this a new problem?

I bought the van used with 17000 miles and I complained about it from day one.
They ran the codes and so did I but nothing.
The dealer kept my van 1 week and never touched it.
The van now has 36000 miles and I don't know what to do.

 

If you have documentation that you had the problem under warranty and attempted to have it repaired and they failed to do so most dealers should and will honor the warranty especially since you are so close to the mileage cut off for bumper to bumper. Also depending on what the problem is it may be covered anyway under the longer powertrain warrant which expires 5 years/60k.
