2020 Express 4500 "screaming"???
Have a new 4500 Express and it screams when I accelerate from a stopped position...like a vehicle with a loose belt. Had a guy that works at a regular Chevy dealership (not the mid-size truck service center) say it sounds more like a transmission problem to him.
Anyone have a similar problem? Looking for possible answers before I drive it 4 hours to my closest truck-serving Chevy dealer..
Thanks!

Normally to source a noise you'd find some way to listen to various spots to track where it's coming from.
If it was an older vehicle I'd say just take the belt off and drive it 100 yards or so, enough to accelerate to where you hear the noise. I drove one home about 10 miles after the alternator locked up and ate the belt, but that was a 91. Belts generally squeal if there's a strain or they're slipping, like when my one 02 the tensioner quit tensioning and left the belt a little loose, I didn't notice until turning the steering to the limit it made belt noise.

Did it do this constantly or only when you accelerated from a stopped or low speed?
