I’m in the consideration phase of having to do a bunch of work on my old 93 G20 van or find a replacement. The transmission went out, and the injectors seem to need serious cleaning. Also investigating tomorrow what looks like a water leak on top of the manifold (hopefully just cooling inlet housing gasket)

so I’m looking at TBI rebuild kits, and they seem to have ones for “electronic speed Governor” and without. I honestly have no idea if my van has an electronic Governor or how to even tell. I can’t tell a real difference in the kits either. Most kits look the same, but a few have a different looking pressure regulator part. Any help if figuring exactly what gasket/parts kit I should be getting would be very appreciated. I’m looking on rock auto, they have TB rebuild kits, injector kits, and pressure regulator kits, all seeming to contain most of the same parts.

my plan with the injectors was just to flush them out myself with some cleaner. Clean everything and reassemble.

 

Found out today, seems the answer is no speed Governor. Can’t see how to delete this post now
