Alternator problem, Chevy Van G20, 1989
Hello,
I have a Chevy Van G20 1989 (5,7L) which I bought quite recently. When I opened the inner hood to change spark plugs I found that the blue cable on the alternator is connected only to the alternator and nothing else. The other end of the cable is just taped and not connected to anything. What is this cable for? The car is working perfectly, the battery gets charged etc. I'm confused! I really hate loose cables, I want my car to be perfect. The cable must be there for some reason.
I would be grateful for some help with this issue.
