we set up a old heavy plow unit on a 2500 truck for plowing the dealership lot...it dropped the front end so drastically it changed the toe setting of the front tires....we had to raise the torsion bars and send it for an alignment.

that's pretty much the norm for any truck you hang a full size plow on. A full size plow weighs about 800 pounds. You always have to realign if you're going to leave it on. I literally install mine when it snows do my stuff and pull back into my shop over the drains and rip it off

not anymore. The new body is all coil springs. 2500 or 3500. There are no torsion bars

have not seen the new bodystyle. last time i was at gm it was 2015.
