Default automatic Sunroof

Hello,
I have a sunroof on the back of my 2006 Explorer Limitied SE that automatically closes when I turn off the engine.
I would like to change this, because I would like to sleep with an open roof in the summer. Does anyone know where the cables to the sunroof run high?
How can I or do I have to rewire this?
Greetings from Germany,
pony

i wouldnt mess with the drive cables to the sun roof.....you could damage the moving parts of the sun roof....the easiest fix would be to interrupt the power going to the sunroof while it was open.....so it wont get power when you turn off your van.......then just reapply power when you want to close it.....

Thanks, the idea is good.
Then I will just install a switch in the Power Line.
Do you know where the cables go?
