I've been thinking, and I'm not sure those would be legal in Virginia. We have a DOT requirement for lighting. If it's too different( and noticeable) it may get rejected. When I worked at a motorcycle shop, the sport bike crowd liked the smaller turn signals, and a lot of them weren't DOT. I'll be checking in to that before I buy.
So I bought one dome light LED, to actually see the difference. While I will keep the door light incandescent, I'll be getting more LEDs for the spots. I have some other LED modules, both warm white and RGB, planned for interior and exterior use. And no, the use of these on the exterior will not pass inspection. But if they don't come on during the inspection, he'll never notice them. I hoping to get the RGBs to "dance" with the music.

Hey everyone... this is off the info on the Head lights that I have.
Description
Maxxima introduces a complete new line of drop in replacement LED headlights for your Truck, Motorcycle and RV. All Maxxima LED head lamps are FMVSS-108 US and CMVSS-108 Canadian compliant.
definition of FMVSS-108 US = Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108 (FMVSS 108) regulates all automotive lighting, signalling and reflective devices in the United States.
here is a link to that info.

I would say they are legal.

That link mentions DOT, but the link you posted in post 571 didn't. And while FMVSS certainly is Federal, you've been around long enough to know that one branch of our government doesn't always recognize another. DOT has it's own system, and makes manufacturers put a DOT number easily seen on products. And that's the only thing Virginia recognizes, because one can see that DOT number without taking anything apart. Look at your tail light or front turn signal lenses, you'll see what I mean. It should be on your new headlights as well.

While I was replacing the headlights.... I removed the Grill to make it easier plus I had to install
the new clips that attach the grill to the core support. Just an FYI.. those clips are not cheap.. geeze...
while I had the grill off I noticed a body label... has anyone noticed this label on their van ?

I thought that might be it, but I wasn't sure. Thanks. But no, I haven't had that area apart to see that. It looks like some RPO codes, and others just abbreviations. Notice the one that says "Halo col"(or)?
