My scan tool is able to do more then I thought.

These codes consistently pop up, but no engine light comes on, I find that strange.

I only found them with the scan tool.

I found the following codes
p1810
p0716
p0449

I got under the van, cleaned and inspected all connections on the transmission.

Cleared all codes
And went for a test drive, I thought I fixed it. It was driving super smooth.

Decided to drive towards the high way and sure enough as I was getting on the express way…I felt the vibration

I re scanned it and the
p1810 & p0716 where both back on.

Besides this random vibration the transmission performs great.

and ok I’ll pick up a speed sensor and replace it tomorrow.
Do you think that p0716

will cause the p1810 code too ??
Because if I have to replace the TFP valve. I’ll take it to the transmission shop let them change both things and maybe do a service while we’re at it

That's why I said "always". Nobody wants to go hunting for it.

trouble codes aren't shopping lists. Follow the troubleshooting.
No. With that mileage I think your transmission is worn out.

Transmission was rebuilt exactly 17 months, I looked up the invoice. I’m out of warranty

I’ve also mentioned multiple times how the transmission performs great besides the random vibration issue.

Okay back on topic.

the p0716 code
was the two wires that go into the INPUT SHAFT SPEED SENSOR plug were cracked and shorting out. I replaced the connector piece and p0716 code is gone.

code p1810 keeps popping up at random
I’ve noticed a very very minor difference in performance right after the first vibration under acceleration happens

And I am almost certain this is what’s causing my issue

Van feels sluggish and with light acceleration it vibrates.
When I clear the p1810 vans goes right back to shifting smooth zero vibrations
till it randomly vibrates again

this is for a chevy express 3500 6.0 v8 341,000 original miles

the 4L80e transmission with 25,000 miles since the complete transmission rebuild 😁👍🏼 following the rules 😅

the p0449 code was me, it was the vent canister by the fuel tank 🤦🏼‍♂️

I have to apologize. I didn't realize this was page 2 of the thread and you already gave your info 😵‍💫. Working 12's isn't good for the brain.

Glad you found the broken wires instead of replacing the sensor.
P1810 means a switch inside the valve body failed.
I always recommend AGAINST rebuilding transmissions. They NEVER last.

Update:
went to the transmission shop, they replaced the TFP VALVE & filter.
unfortunately that didn’t fix the p1810 issue.
they are saying they need to drop the transmission and I’m looking at a $1,200-$2,000 bill
I’m going somewhere else for a second opinion

if you want to keep the vehicle then get a remanufactured and dyno tested transmission with a good warranty from a big reputable factory.

I have a 6L90 and have been dealing with the same thing for over a year now.

I've been to multiple shops including a very reputable transmission specialist, an independent mechanic, and the Chevy dealership. All of them have basically said I'm imagining it and there's absolutely nothing wrong. Aside from this issue, my van runs/drives like it's new. I've recently - for my own mental well-being - just given up on this until the van breaks down.

I read over your thread, you were talking about it was the rear differential ??

and I figured out my random vibration is associated to transmission code p1810, the transmission pan was opened and the TFP valve was replaced but the code is still coming back along with the vibration.
I simply delete all codes and the van goes right back to driving great.
I gave up on trying to fix this issue, I’m not buying another transmission and my engine has really high miles too so it’s a matter of time till something goes in the engine.
I’m just going to baby it and continue to save for a new van 🤷🏻‍♂️
