G5500 Van Build Differences (do even they still make these?)
I just thought I would look up the G5500 this morning.
It is interesting to note some build differences. I understand the reasons for such, I just find it interesting after looking at ours for so long.
Guages
I like the Tach.
The Dash. Older design to mine.
This whole top near the window is different.
Note the different bezel and the doghouse (engine cover) - it's smaller.
I might consider installing such if I had had the need.
Mind you, I guess with the Passenger Airbag I couldn't. The deployment zone. It would not work.
No Airbag gives you a cubby.
The doors are trimmed back at the bottom and the floor has more girth. Likely due from a wider frame (?).
I don't have those fancy red reflectors.
I do not see too many of these.
I like the look.
A flipping hood.
Wouldn't that be better if our hoods flipped?
Or perhaps if our whole nose just lifted off by unlatching four latches?
