Default need help finding G20 brake backing plates

As you can probably tell by my username I'm a Ford guy I know very little about GM products in general.

I am trying to help a friend find replacement brake backing plates for his axle. My friend has no access to part stores or dealerships or junkyards to find the backing plates because he is located in Poland.

He has a shop over there that is focused on restoring old american muscle cars,. Most of the cars were transported over by american servicemen stationed in europe and left behind or sold by the original owners.

The car that he is working on is an 1950 F1 but the axle is from a 1988 G20 van. He had removed the backing plates and they were stolen or scrapped or thrown away by someone .

Here is part of the email he sent me.

That is the biggest problem. I have it for fiew day outside shop, and
some body stollen it. I know it is my foul, that I do not care about
it, but it happen first time, and I usuallu disasembling cars outside,
when I do not have space inside...
So I do not have a picture.

The size of drum is 11 1/8", and 2 3/4 inside. 5 lug wheel, 8,5" rear
end 10 bolts the rearend from Chevy
G20 VAN from 1988.

Maybe it helps, if not I will try to found some european rearend, or I
will use a Mustang one. But for me better to use this oryginal 5x5"
lug, I have wheels already, and all fited in to use this chevy one.

I tried looking online and can't find anything , and I went to a chevy dealer near me with a very good parts department and hit a brick wall there too. I had never heard of a G20 before this but by the number I'm assuming its a light 3/4 ton axle the kind without hubs in the rear, equipped with semi floating style bearings.

If anyone has any interchange info or part numbers I would appreciate the help. Links to chevy van graveyards that sell parts , ebay sellers that specialize in them are ok too.

That part number looks good , I couldn't come up with that anywhere I looked.

The guy at the dealership said they had thrown out all the old paper parts books they always used and none of that was in the computer it just said obsolete or discontinued there was no way to cross reference to it.

I sent my friend the ebay listing to look at he hasn't gotten back to me. They are 6 or 7 hours ahead so he is probably asleep.

Thanks for the quick response even if that ebay link doesn't work out I'm a lot closer to finding it than I was this morning
