Default New to forum. Showing off my G3500

Just thought I would show off my van. It's nothing special, but I love it!

I quit my job about 2 months ago due to the owner having poor management skills and only wanted to get rich. I looked around for a job for a few days until i had a friend call and she wanted me to quote her how much a top end rebuild. I had to drive 30 miles out of my way for 2 days so I ended up asking my brother if I could borrow this van.

This used to be a Culligan installation van, mostly for larger water softeners and heavy duty installs. It has a Tommy Gate lift in the back rated at 650#. It came with shelving units and the back (from the cockpit back), has all been rhino lined from the floor to the ceiling.

After driving it for 2 days, I started thinking of maybe I can do this for a while in between jobs. And now I am actually running my own business and it is going swell! I have had alot of luck on craigslist so far for advertising and getting my name out their, as well as references. I can do anything from a tune-up to a engine swap out of this van mobilized.

The bad: Front bumper is an ungly gray that i will end up painting. numerous wiring problems like my right rear brake light has a short when i press the brake. Their is a high idle problem, which I will most likely rebuild the top end on it depending how easy it all is to access, alternator voltage regulator is going out so my cluster, lights, and radio kinda fluster, and our local junk yard only had 3 of 4 centercaps haha.

Plans: Finish removing lower stickers in prep for my decals
H4 upgrade for HID's because it helps alot at night
black out turn signals up front, possibly tint rear brake lights
remove temporary rear shades and install 5% tint (learning how to right now)
Need new tires soon and will be painting the wheels black while getting the tires
small paint chips and rust that might need metal fabricated and welded, then I will paint to match
Front windshield has a crack but not impairing my vision. -Replace
Top end rebuild with edelbrock performer top end.

More to come later!
