Default rear differential swap 2003 to 1997 Express 1500
Hi! Just stupid question maybe but is that possible to install newer model Express 1500 (from 2003) rear differential + complete axle body (w/ disk brakes) to 1997 Express 1500?
My 97 Express differential (8.5" 10 bolt, splines 30) making vibration and trying to find replacement options...

2003 had substantial frame+chassis changes so likely not

Just the change to rear disks will mean the rear brake lines need more pressure to run them, which is going to be a pain to do with the ABS unit.
