first off what year van do you have..i own 4 vans and i have had to change fuel pumps in all of them...they range from 2003 to 2013....i have had to answer the same question about my vans....turns out all vans have right side cargo doors or sliding door. but some vans ( like 2 of mine ) also have side cargo doors on the left side ( drivers side ) . turns out the left side cargo vans have a different gas tank and therefore have a different fuel pump. one pump is taller than the other...thats why they need to know if you have left cargo doors or not...

That's right . The door on those vans is where the gas filler would normally be.

Default Thanks!

After talking to two GM dealers and part store dealers, you are the only person that answered my question!
p.s. even the manual wasn't any help.
