Default Rear turn signals and brakes won't work

Hey, the other day my rear turn signals went out about a day apart from each other. And subsequently, my brake lights went out too. I'm getting the fast tick when I use the turn signal. I replaced the bulbs.I checked all the fuses and everything is fine , but it's still doing it.

Would someone be able to point me in the right direction? What should I be looking at or trying to fault find or research so that I can try to get this fixed. thank you!

I've had a similar issue on my 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe and it turns out it was a wiring issue from the turn signal switch to the brake light switch. It's worth checking the wiring harness and connections to see if that's the problem.

my rear lights staying on, or not coming on (besides burnt bulb occurrences) were all due to the brake switch connected to the brake pedal needing a removal, clean-up, or replace (then listening for easy click-ability etc)

-- i found it easy to order the wrong brake switch which did not work
-- found it useful to carefully inspect etc. the rubber that the wires go thru to the lights at the back - also the crossing-over wires as there's a strange little fitting in the middle attached to the inside body above doors (sorry if not said great)

I recall there being a whole lot of importance to the high-center light - will edit if I recall the finer point. I think that if the high center light bulb goes out (i think there's TWO bulbs in there) "stuff" happens.

OH YEAH - and, i may find time to discover which one was the "oh i see" moment out of this list.
sorry will have to think on it and search better this eve perhaps)

Check the bulb sockets for a good connection to the bulbs. Also check that you are getting good ground to your bulbs.
