Replacing 16.5s with 16s
I have an 84 g20 with the optional 9.5-16.5 tires on 8 lug stock wheels. I am looking to replace them with 16" wheels. All my googling has led me to believe that g20's never came with 8 lug wheels. However, it appears my wheels are almost identical to the 1971-79 c20 wheels, which have a 116mm bore and 0 offset.
Can anyone confirm this or provide the correct measurements? Also, is there another vehicle whose wheels will fit? I am away from the van and cannot measure my wheels.

The G20 normally is a 3/4 ton van that runs 5x5" wheels. Rotors are shared with more GM applications than you can list, 71-76 fullsize cars, 71-87 2WD pickup, etc.
G30 and up have the eight lug wheels, but it's not hard to swap around at least on the front end to get the 1-ton suspension. Be curious to know what rearend you have in there. I don't think the 10-bolt most G20s have could be had as an 8-lug, it's likely a 14-bolt. Rock Auto doesn't even show this as an option. Might want to run the RPO codes and decode the VIN, could even be a G30 with the wrong badges.
Wheels, probably any Chevy 8-lug for non-dually through 1990 (van to 96) or so will work. The 1995 G30 van I had years ago came with junk tires so I swapped on a set off a 1985 Suburban, the tires were too big and it being a beater I just sawed off a bit of the front lower wheel opening so they'd clear. But the wheels fit fine.
In fact, that also makes me wonder what suspension and tires are there now, the tires themselves can't be very large or they rub at the very front of the rocker panel, unless it's a cutaway and sits that much higher.
