Retrofit (A/C) cabin air filter on Express 1998, 5.7

Hi,
since I have a child now, I am more worried about pollution inside the car. I know that my Chevy Express 1998 (1500, 5.7l) does not come with an A/C or cabin air filter - not even optional. I was wondering if there is still the possibility to retrofit one? Has anybody done such a thing? Where could it be installed?
Hope you can help me! :-)
